Terms of Service
The plain-language deal between you and Shaktii. Short enough to actually read.
Effective date: 3 July 2026
The short version: Shakti’s agents write code; you review and approve what ships. Your approval is your call — and your responsibility. Bring your own key means your provider terms. We’re at launch, so plans and prices may still move.
1. The agreement
These terms apply when you use shaktii.ai, the Shakti VS Code extension, or the Vyohm app (together, “the service”), operated by Shaktii (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you’re accepting for a company, you confirm you have the authority to do so.
2. What the service is
Shakti provides a managed team of AI agents that plan, build, and test software in your workspace, working in dependency-safe waves checked by an automatic validator. Vyohm is the companion app where you review their output and approve decisions. The agents’ output is machine-generated: it can be wrong, incomplete, or unsuitable for your purpose, and it is presented to you for review — not as professional advice.
3. Your approvals are your responsibility
The service is designed so that destructive or outward-facing actions — deployments, pushes to shared repositories, deletions, purchases, or anything else that leaves your machine or changes shared systems — wait for your explicit approval. When you approve an action, you are making that decision and taking responsibility for its consequences. Read the diff before you tap Approve. Do not approve actions you don’t understand or aren’t authorised to make in the systems they affect.
4. Your account
Keep your account details accurate and your devices and credentials secure. Licenses are device-bound; revoke a device promptly if it’s lost or compromised. You are responsible for activity that happens through your account and approved devices.
5. Acceptable use
- Don’t use the service to build or operate anything unlawful, or to create malware, spam, or tools designed to harm others.
- Don’t use it against code or systems you don’t have the right to modify.
- Don’t attempt to bypass run metering, quotas, licensing, or tier limits.
- Don’t probe, overload, or disrupt the service, or resell it without a written agreement with us.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules; where reasonable, we’ll warn you first.
6. Bring your own key (BYOK)
When you add your own model-provider API key, runs on that key are between you and that provider: their terms of service, their usage policies, and their charges apply, and you are responsible for complying with them. We don’t proxy, meter, or take a margin on BYOK traffic — which also means we can’t control the provider’s availability, pricing, or policy decisions.
7. Plans, quotas, and launch pricing
Published prices are launch pricing and are introductory. As the product matures, tiers, daily covered-run quotas, model routing, and prices may change. We’ll give you reasonable advance notice of changes that affect a paid plan, and price changes take effect from your next billing cycle — never retroactively. Covered-run allowances reset daily and don’t roll over.
8. Your code and our service
Your code is yours — including the code the agents write in your workspace. We claim no ownership over your repositories or the output you accept into them. The service itself — the Shakti and Vyohm software, the agent designs, the brand — belongs to us; these terms give you a right to use it, not to copy or rebuild it.
9. No warranty
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We’re a small team shipping fast, and we don’t promise the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that agent output will be correct or fit for any particular purpose. You are responsible for reviewing, testing, and validating anything the agents produce before you rely on it.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses — including lost profits, lost data, or the consequences of actions you approved. Our total liability for any claim arising out of the service is capped at the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim (or ₹1,000 if you were on the Free plan). Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Indian law.
11. Termination
You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms or for behaviour that harms the service or other users. Sections 8–10 and 12 survive termination.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
13. Changes to these terms
We’ll post updates here and change the effective date above. If a change materially affects your rights, we’ll notify you in the product or by message before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the updated terms.
