Privacy Policy
Written to be read, not skimmed past. If anything here is unclear, ask us.
Effective date: 3 July 2026
The short version: your workspace stays on your machine, while a run sends selected context to its model provider. Vyohm uses authenticated, encrypted transport and processes the information needed to deliver companion features. We keep the account, feedback, and metering data needed to operate the service.
Who we are
Shaktii (“we”, “us”) makes Shakti, a managed team of AI agents that plans, builds, and tests software inside VS Code, and Vyohm, the companion app you use to review and approve their work. This policy covers the shaktii.ai website, the Shakti extension, and the Vyohm app. For anything privacy-related, use our contact form.
What we collect
- Account details. Your name and phone number. These create your Vyohm identity, sign you in, and route approval notifications to your devices. That’s what they’re for, and that’s all they’re used for.
- Feedback you choose to send. If you submit feedback from the product or the site, we store the text you wrote so a human can read it and act on it. Please only include what you’re comfortable sharing.
- Usage counts. We meter covered runs against your plan’s daily allowance: run counts, timestamps, and your plan tier. These are numbers, not content — we count that a run happened, not what it contained.
- Product telemetry — operational categories. Operational events can include “run started”, “run failed”, error codes, and feature-use categories. The optional frustration signals setting is intended to report that a frustration signal occurred, not the message itself. You can switch these signals off in the extension settings at any time.
Data boundaries
- Your source code. Your workspace remains on your machine. A run can send selected context to the model provider used for that run. When you bring your own API key, that traffic goes directly from your machine to the provider and does not pass through Shaktii’s servers.
- Your BYOK API keys. Keys you bring stay with you — stored on your device, encrypted at rest, decrypted only at the point of use. We do not receive, log, or store them.
- Companion messages. They use authenticated, encrypted transport. We process the data needed to route and deliver companion features; do not use chat to share secrets that your organisation cannot authorise the service to process.
Where your data lives
Account, feedback, and metering data is stored in Microsoft SQL Server databases hosted in India. A model provider may process the selected context sent for a run under that provider’s terms and applicable regional handling; BYOK traffic goes directly to the provider you select.
How long we keep it
- Account details: for as long as your account is active.
- Feedback, usage counts, and telemetry: only for as long as needed to operate, secure, support, and improve the service, subject to applicable legal obligations.
- On account deletion: we delete or anonymise personal data according to our operational retention and backup schedules, unless we must retain it by law or to resolve a security or fraud issue.
Who we share it with
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with: the infrastructure providers that host the service, under contract and only to run it; the model provider handling a covered run (only what that run itself sends); and public authorities when the law genuinely requires it.
Your choices and rights
You can turn product telemetry — including frustration signals — off in the extension settings whenever you like; the product keeps working. You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you through our contact form. We handle requests in accordance with applicable law, including India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
Children
Shaktii is a professional tool and is not directed at children. You must be 18 or older to create an account.
Changes to this policy
When this policy changes, we’ll update this page and the effective date above. If a change is material, we’ll say so plainly — in the product or by notification — rather than burying it.
